The Boron Nitride Powder Overview Powder

Industrial Boron nitride powder is pure white ceramic with hexagonal crystal structures similar to graphite. It can withstand temperatures in excess of 2,000 degrees Celsius. Based on the grade, its dielectric power is around 1000 volts/millimeter. As for optical applications due to the strong hardness of the c-BN films and the high transmission of the entire length range from ultraviolet(from around 200 nm)to far-infrared, it can be used as a coating on the surface of certain optical components. It is especially suitable for coating of window materials , such as zinc selenide(ZnSe)and zinc sulfide(ZnS).In out of that, it has good heat shock resistance and toughness, and is expected to be one of the best window materials for high power detection and lasers.
